About the role and project

The Sales team covers investor clients including Independent Asset Managers, Private Banks and Institutional Asset Managers for investment solutions. The position is a market and client facing role that requires smarts, technical and people skills, a problem-solving approach and above all ability to work as a team.

We are looking for an ambitious, motivated and hard-working team player to cover Spain market in SILEX INVESTMENT MANAGERS’ office in Paris . You will help build long-term relationships with existing and new wealth management clients and will work closely with our structuring, marketing and asset management teams in other locations.

Depending on the business development, SILEX will envision a Madrid based branch.


Main responsibilities

. Cover existing clients, identify new business opportunities and originate new client relationships in Spain area, always with a strategic and long-term view,

. Generate sales driven investment ideas, differentiated content and other market commentary,

. Manage the entire sales process from qualifying to closing, in-depth understanding of clients needs,

. Analyse intelligence from the marketplace


Requirements

. Relevant Master’s degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record, specialization in Market Finance.

. 5+ years proven experience.

. Strong relationships with the wealth management, private banking and institutional market.

.  Aptitude for business development and an entrepreneurial spirit.

. Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills 

. Strong computing skills and knowledge of MS Office. Previous experience with Salesforce would be an asset.

. Spanish and English or French is required

. Based in Paris with frequent trips abroad.
